Martin Luther King, Jr.

In an atmosphere teeming with violence this man of faith, a true American hero, insisted on unrelenting yet peaceful means to bring justice to the repressed.

This is a drawing I did some time ago and thought I’d post again. The original is in private hands but I had a photo of the drawing in my digital files. I used white pencil on black mat board. You can see some of the texture in the photo.

“Look! A turtle!”

Outings with the grandkids offer unending sources for inspiration. This drawing was inspired by a visit to the aquarium.
