Let’s Change The Subject

The art of denial, deflection and distraction is certainly not the sole property of only the current administration. Democrats and Republicans each have their closets they don’t want anyone looking into.

An experiment in college art class many years ago; etching on plastic. Of the prints I made, blue seemed to work out best.

I needed to come up with a cover for the pictorial directory for the 50th reunion for Bryan Adams High School class of 1963. I started with a conte crayon drawing I had done (and previously posted), opened it in Photoshop, changed the color to green (school color) and played around with the filters. When I had an image I was happy with I added text to the composition. Click on each image to enlarge them.

Some time ago I posted a small drawing I had done of a flower with the mat board cut in a simple keyhole shape ( I recently found this drawing I had done about the same time.

Finger Lickin Good

I was going through some old files and came across something I was going to do one day. Years went by and I never got around to doing it. I decided to get it done but it didn’t enthuse me enough to make it a major project so I dug my seldom used chalk pastels out of the closet and did this quick rendering. It’s interesting that the scanner picks up some strokes that are not as evident to the eye.
