I was watching an old John Wayne movie and the girl-interest was Mary Kornman. I looked her up and discovered she had been one of the Little Rascals of The Our Gang series. I found a photo of her I thought was precious and decided to draw her.

This is Louise Brooks. She was an actress in the 1920s and 30s. A true “flapper girl.“ She helped popularize the bob hairstyle. Apparently, she was something of a hedonist. But I didn’t draw her because of all that. I just thought she was pretty. Click on image to enlarge. Digital illustration
