Learning to Swim

An idea popped into my head: Baby fish start their lives already knowing how to swim, its instinctive. Human babies work on walking for months, even longer. What if you’re half fish/half human? I depicted a Mermaid Mom teaching her little boy how to swim. Do we call him a Merboy; a Merkid?

I thought I had already posted this last June but I couldn’t find it. It was another granddaughter request. She wanted herself and her cousin, something about both Disneyland and Disney World.

Godzilla vs Grandson

Grandkid who just had a birthday is into Godzilla among the other usual pursuits of an eleven year old boy. I created this Super Hero poster for him to go with his 50-DVD collection of cheesy sci-fi movies. I threw in a box set of Three Stooges movies just for the heck of it.

Princess Knight

Yet another grandkid birthday and of course another drawing request:
Her: “Draw a princess knight with long braided hair coming out of her helmet. Draw her on a horse, fighting a dragon.”
Me: “OK”
Her: “Can you draw backgrounds?”
Me: “I think so.”
Her: “Put a volcano in the background.”
