Two-Headed Dragon Prince
When I ask my grandkids what they would like me to draw I never know what they will come up with. It can be very vague or very specific. This is what I came up with when the request was for a “two-headed dragon prince.” I have no clue where that idea came from.

GrandGirls and GrandBoys
I just spent the weekend with two of my grandkids. One boy, one girl. Each one asked me to draw something for them. Look carefully at each drawing and see if you can tell who asked for what.

Princess’ Pet Dragon
Another grandkid request. I deflected the calls for a drawing that was basically a repeat of the Dragon Princess Tea Party (August, 2010) but she insisted we have a “Cinderella” princess, a friendly dragon and a castle. The dragon should be blue and have a blue bow. What? Later she added that the dragon should be a rainbow dragon. Again, what? Here is what I came up with. I didn’t have a scanner available and had to take photos of the drawing but you get the idea.

Pirates and Sea Serpents
The latest grandkid request was for me to draw a pirate ship. I can’t just draw a ship. It has to be doing something. So I added the battle with a sea serpent. Then I had to explain what a sea serpent is.

Dragon Princess Tea Party
I asked the grandkids, “What do you want me to draw?” The three year old granddaughter said a princess tea party. The six year old grandson wanted two dragons fighting. This is what I came up with.
The three year old wanted me to add a “friendly” dragon. He’s at the bottom.
