Pirate Choir
Choir directors are constantly advising how to purposefully mispronounce words so they sound better when sung. This is especially important to us folks from Texas since our words often take on lives of their own. One such direction concerns words ending in an ‘R’. They’d much rather hear an “uh” sound than an “er.” I suppose that’s why we don’t come across many pirate choirs.
I thnk we’d like to wear “pirate” robes instead of the traditional ones! Fun picture
