Angel Beverly

For the first time in over forty years I will be celebrating Christmas without my wife, Beverly. Yet, as difficult as it will be I know that through the birth of Christ, God has shown his love for us and that He will never leave us alone.

John 11:25
Beverly, or Mimi to her grandkids, is still with us on Christmas.

  1. God bless you, Colby! I hope your holidays are filled with love. I was just sitting here a few minutes ago crying over one of my lost loved ones. My grandmother – she passed twelve years ago. I was sitting here drinking my coffee and looking up to the top of the bookshelf, my eyes landed on her Whitman’s choc. box from her very first date in 1926, and one thing led to another…and pretty soon my sweet giant dog had to come in and comfort me.

I will say a prayer for you and I hope and pray you’re not too lonely this season, and that the love of your grandchildren pulls you through.

That’s a precious, beautiful picture of Angel Beverly – it is refreshing to see so much love.

    Again, God bless you!

  2. Colby, this is a great tribute to Beverly/Mimi. I’m so glad I took the time to look at it. I just pray that this will be a blessed Christmas for you and your family. It will be hard but God will see you through. His plan is perfect even though we don’t always understand why. He loves you and will take care of you. Your friend, Patty
