Juanita Jewel Craft, 1902-1985
Within the various commemorations during Black History Month have been a few mentions of Juanita Jewel Craft. I met her several times during my times with the Dallas Park and Recreation Department. I found her to be a very sweet lady and I learned to respect and appreciate her. I found out later how really special she was. My respect and appreciation grew even more.
