I was asked to illustrate a couple of Bible verses. John 8:32 being one of them.
32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Combined with that is a reference to Isaiah 40:31.
31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Both verses from the New International Version (NIV).
I depicted someone not only part of the earth but bound to it and being freed. I’m not sure why I chose a dancer. Seemed like a good idea. Maybe it had something to do with “grace.” You are free to make your own interpretations.
