I had been working on a different painting. It was going poorly. So poorly, in fact, that I did something I haven’t done in years. I gave up. Most of the time I’m committed enough to work through problems. Not this time. I didn’t think it was salvageable. But I needed to paint SOMETHING! So, I experimented with this.
